WORKSHOPS AND TOURS
Navigating Genealogy Websites
Participants will learn about websites that are available for genealogical research and how they can use them.
10:00am - noon and 1:00 – 3:00pm
Maximum 25 participants per workshop

How to Search for Birth, Death and Marriage Records
Our Reference Archivist will demonstrate how to access vital statistics. This is a hands-on workshop and participants will have an opportunity to use the resources in the Reading Room to research their family history.

Using Probate Records for Genealogical Research
Join one of our Government Records Archivist as she demonstrates how to locate and use probate records. This is a hands-on workshop and participants will have an opportunity to use the Provincial Archives records to research their family history.

Maximum 15 participants per workshop

Behind the Scenes Tours
Go behind the scenes to areas normally off limits to the public. See the vaults where the records are stored and as well as the conservation lab where damaged records are treated.
10:00am, Noon and 1:00pm
Maximum 20 participants per tour

The Reading Room will be closed for regular research.
Registration is required for all activities.
