Dennis Edney will speak about the Omar Khadr trial and appearing before an international court. Dennis is originally from Dundee, Scotland and is a criminal defence lawyer. He has been involved in many high profile cases and recently with Omar Khadr. He has received many awards which include : the National Pro Bono Award and the Human Rights Medal awarded by the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia. He was also the keynote speaker on behalf of Amnesty International at Trinity College in Dublin and has lectured extensively throughout North America.
