2012 Forum for Information Professionals

Website registration is now open to attend the 2012 Forum for Information Professionals on Friday, January 27th, at the University of Alberta School of Library and Information Studies.

Please register at http://fip.lissa.ca/main/attend to attend this free one day conference. The cutoff this year will be 165 participants so please register asap! Note that registration is required to attend the lunch and the student presentations but not the morning or afternoon keynote speakers.

We are excited to present this year to the library and information services community, our morning keynotes speakers Marni R. Harrington and Elizabeth Marshall who will present on Mentoring in Canadian English Academic Libraries. Our afternoon keynote speakers, Jeananne Kathol Kirwin, Linda Cameron and Robert Tiessen, will participate in a Copyright Panel Discussion.

Keynote speaker and student presentation information is also available on the website. The schedule will be posted to the website soon, so stay tuned!
