Start your year off with a bang: meet up with your GELA colleagues and sample the fare at a great local restaurant on Friday, February 3rd, 2012.
You may have encountered the dine-around concept at conferences. We decided to give it a shot here.
The idea of the dine-around is to organize small groups of GELA members to get out and visit local restaurants. Keeping the groups small ensures a more intimate dinner party experience, where everyone gets to know his or her fellow diners, which hopefully sparks some lively conversation.
It's a great chance for both new and long-time members to make connections and meet new people. Holding the event at multiple restaurants allows members to choose a restaurant that indulges their culinary curiosity and fits their budget.
The selected restaurants for the event are: the Pourhouse Bier Bistro, Blue Chair Café, Narayanni's Gourmet South African Indian Cuisine, and Pampa Brazilian Steakhouse.
