The Foothills Library Association would like to invite you to attend the Calgary Libraries in Action (CLIA) event on March 15th, 6:30PM to 9:00PM at Lougheed House, a beautiful heritage building in downtown Calgary.
Our panel of speakers will discuss their work with untraditional patron groups.
Jim Gray: serving Northern and rural communities
Madelaine Vanderwerff: meeting the needs of users at Alberta Law Libraries
Lauren Bossler: working at West View School at the Calgary Young Offenders Centre
Julie Alati-it: helping users at the Women's Health Knowledge Centre, Health Information Network
Tickets for the event are $20 for FLA members and $30 for non members.
This event will also feature a reception with fantastic hot and cold hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.
