Foothills Library Association - Call for Nominations for Executive Positions

Each year the Foothills Library Association puts out a call for nominations for executive positions.  This year we will be holding an online election for executive positions, with the winners to be presented as a slate for approval at the AGM in June.  The positions, roles and responsibilities are described briefly below.  If you would like to put your name forward for an executive position, or if you have any questions please contact us at Please contact us by May 30th, 2012 if you would like to nominate yourself for one of the positions described below:

  • attend monthly or bimonthly meetings;
  • participate in the planning, hosting and attendance at FLA events;
  • work to promote FLA events and initiatives within their institution or community and
  • contribute to the FLAG (FLA Gazette) by writing or soliciting articles on topics of interest to the library community.
